Imagine you lived a very long, prosperous, fulfilling life and when you get to the heavens, or whatever you believe is the afterlife, there is an awards ceremony. (if you don’t believe in an after/between life – just pretend).
There is an awards ceremony like the Oscars but this time it is for a life lived on purpose, for fulfilling your destiny, for following your heart, and for living the life you meant to live.
Imagine you lived the life you meant to live, a long fulfilling life, letting your light shine and sharing your gifts with the world. And when you get to heaven you receive an award for it.
What will be your acceptance speech?
Who will you be grateful for?
Who will you thank in assisting you in living the life you meant to live?
Who will you mention in your speech?
Who or what helped you in your path for living in light, on purpose and from your heart?
You may thank your parents, your partner, siblings, children, family and friends.
You may be grateful for your teachers, mentors, authors, role models and guides.
You may thank your business partner, employees, colleagues, clients or readers.
How about that person on the train, or the one you met in line at the supermarket who said something that completely changed your life or perception of reality.
Maybe you are grateful for a book you read, a movie, an article or the cute kid you saw in an advert or a charity plea?
And how can we not include, the blog post you read, a tweet, a link on facebook, or an online webinar 😊?
Who will you be grateful to for living on purpose, for following your path, your heart’s desire?
Imagine you lived the life you really meant to live, being who you were meant to be, all you can be, a long fulfilling life, full of light, shining, sharing your gifts with the world. And when you get to the heavens you receive an award for it. Who will you mention in your acceptance speech? Who will you be grateful for?
How about the person who always pushed your buttons? And got you really frustrated?
How about your ex husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend? How about the colleague you didn’t get along with? Or the company that laid you off? Are you going to be grateful?
What about the loss you’ve experienced, the failures, as well as the joy and successes, the pain and the laughter? Maybe an addiction you had to get over? Disability you had to live with as well as your skills and talents?
And how about inanimate objects? Something you’ve received, found or bought 😉 that showed you the way to light and fulfilment.
Who will you mention? Who will you be grateful for?
Who or what is helping you today to live the life you meant to live, to be who you meant to be, to let your light shine and share your gifts with the world?
All I can say is that my acceptance speech is getting longer and longer, and so is the list of people, entities, events, circumstances, animals, plants and inanimate objects I am grateful for.
I thank you for reading this post. I wish you a longgggggggggggg fulfilling life, living on purpose and following your heart’s desire.
I would love to hear your comments, please feel free to leave one.
“Live long and prosper” 🖖 ( I couldn’t resist 😀)
Love yourself – change the world.
