In the last couple of months I’ve been attending various workshops, reading books and listening to inspirational teachers about manifesting, creating the life you want, success, wealth. They all had one thing in common, identify your dreams, set your goals, take actions, and start moving forward towards your dreams.

In the midst of all of that I went to see Star-Trek the movie, the IMAX experience.

If you are not familiar with IMAX, it is a large-format cinema experience which screens 3D and non-3D movies. The screen is huge and the film is stretched across the entire screen which accounts for quite a unique experience and a feeling you are part of the movie.

I am a bit of a Sci-Fi buff, so I did my research and apart from two blips I knew of in advance, the movie was true to the Star Trek universe.

Needless to say the movie was amazing. In the end I just stayed in my seat in awe (and with my mouth open ).

Then it dawned on me, I would give everything I have, and say goodbye to everyone I know, just to be part of such an adventure!!

And no, no I am not talking about just going into space in a rocket plane to see earth and come back. I am talking about being on a star-ship exploring other planets, meeting other species. I am talking about replicators, holosuites, universal translators and federation of planets.

This is my Biggest Dream!!

Let’s rewind for a second, shall we. In all the workshops I’ve attended, or listened to online, they did talk about dreaming BIG, they also talked about taking actions. One of them was very specific about the difference between dream and fantasy.  Fantasy is something we just think about or talk about; a dream is something we are taking action to manifest.

So here I am sitting in IMAX staring at the screen, realizing my biggest dream is somewhere in space, literally.

So what am I doing to make it a reality? Did I join NASA? Started a research into light speed and warp engines? Not quite. 

One of the things that attracts me about the star-trek universe is the future of our planet. In the words of Captain Kathryn Janeway  from Star-Trek Voyager: “we’ve eradicated war, famine and disease centuries ago”.

Wow, A world which is free of conflict, hunger and disease. Well, that’s something worth dreaming of and taking action towards. A world where not just different human races get along with each other, but we also get along with species from other planets to form a federation. Amazing.

It seems that once we get over our differences to cooperate and create heaven on earth, looking after each other and the planet, we can advance technologically to reach for the stars.

So what action am I taking today to manifest my biggest dream?

Inspiring people and helping them to love themselves and finding their inner light. Who knows maybe one of their offspring or yours, or people you touch in your life, is destined to invent the warp engine.

And since I am an optimist and believe in reincarnation, I can act on the assumption that we’ll reach this state of our planet one day and I will be grateful to be reincarnated at that time and serve on a star-ship, maybe teaching aliens to love themselves .
