Come with me to the woods
The wolf says –
Let’s run away.
Let’s get lost between the wet grass
of morning dew
In the twilight branches
and the smell of mildew
Come run with me
Let’s roll in the dirt and chase bugs
Let’s get lost in the thick of the woods
Let’s play, let’s prey, let’s act like cubs
Smell, hear, feel,
Let’s run
Let’s lick the trunk of an old tree
Let’s pee
